I loved doing these eight designs my imagination went into overdrive! The wool on the green design worked really well against the thread, it looked bumpy on the top but smooth underneath. My favourite was the Aran, I knit the cable then stitched it on then used satin stitch and french knots to give it a warm cosy look. The red DMC thread was very striking with the squares changing direction. You would think I was using two different colours.The aqua ribbon is like 3D, the ribbon shows a smooth soft side with the light and shade and the DMC thread just cut's through.
